OWC HD upgrade set with tools & Digital Thermal sensor

Posted by UN on 18th Feb 2021

It was quite easy to purchase the items online direct from Flexxmemory.co.uk. The parcel arrived on the scheduled date. One of the suction holders was faulty, but the company quickly replaced it as soon as I informed them. So overall happy with purchase. Replacement of the HD with SSD was straightforward and I am happy with the outcome. I would be happy to recommend this seller because of their service and product quality.

OWC COMPLETE HARD DRIVE UPGRADE KIT

Posted by Pete on 5th Jan 2021

The suction pads were the best part. the iMac screen removal was simple using them. They are REALLY sticky. I used the screwdrivers, but the handles are a bit thin to get a good grip. It worked fine, but if you already have a set of Torx screwdriver attachments, you could use them instead. I didn't seem to need the extractor tool. I used the cloth to dust off the screen before reassembly.

    OWC Digital Thermal Sensor

Posted by Nikolay Naydenov on 22nd Nov 2020

My old iMac 2011 was extremely noisy, I believe due to the fans control. Since I installed the OWC digital thermal sensor, the computer became super quiet. I wasn't sure this would work but it has done a miracle! It is a bit pricy but is worth every penny, I highly recommend it!
