    Hard to imagine better

Posted by Mike Burroughs on 8th Jun 2022

Flexx, and Marian in particular, saved me over £1000. The hard drive on my old iMAC 27" failed beyond repair. Marian also advised me to change the PCIe board as well. Marian's advice, ongoing support by email and phone as well as links to excellent step by step "How To" videos enabled me to replace both PCIe and HDD with a bigger SSD A few hundred pounds for the parts and a few hours work was money and time well spent. Much, much cheaper than a new Apple computer and much better for the planet as I can continue to use something for a few more years. Result!

OWC 1TB AURA PRO X2 SSD UPGRADE

Posted by Adrian on 10th Aug 2021

Before I bought this I was considering getting a new Macbook Pro. With the expert help from Flexx's online chat service, I was able to pick this SSD, which has breathed new life into a 6 year old machine and kept it alive for a while longer - thanks!

    Simple to use

Posted by Unknown on 7th Apr 2021

It was my first ever attempt at upgrading computer hardware. You might find that the part needs a bit of extra physical force to get it to fit into your computer as I had slight difficulties but it works fine. I have a 15" Mid 2014 Retina display Macbook.

    Just the job

Posted by Unknown on 8th Mar 2021

My SSD packed up and having had the problem diagnosed for me, I spoke directly to Flexx whom not only helped me understand what part I needed, but took me through some of the issues that I may face with its installation. Part worked perfectly and I would recommend Flexx to anyone now.

    New upgrade for BigSur

Posted by Nathan on 26th Feb 2021

If you want the extra room to fit the latest operating system on your still youthful 120 gb hard drive MacBook Pro this is the one to go for. Straightforward instruction to follow though internal layout slightly different from video instructions. Works a dream now. Quick delivery.

    Installation and implemtation

Posted by Sean Mallon on 5th Oct 2020

This product was well packaged and the supporting information for installation via youtube was very clear. Making sure that your mac is up to date is absolutely essential for success. This includes making sure that the bios update has been successful (lesson check beforehand!) Performance increase through disk benchmarking software shows a massive leap in performance. This does not translate in to a noticeable real world difference - my macbook still powers up in roughly the same time and it doesn't appear to be any nippier. Transformational though is the massive increase in disk size from my original 128GB. For a massive hike in internal drive space this is really your only cheap and viable option. Great value for money and means my macbook can go on for a few more years yet.
