A great update for my mid 2014 MacBook Pro

Posted by Andrew on 11th Mar 2021

A pretty easy upgrade, although naturally it takes a little time copy things back once done. Worth mentioning that to restore from the old drive, one first has to install Mac OS the new drive with internet recovery, update to Big Sur in the App Store, and then use Migration Assistant to copy info of the old drive. Works really well and now I have 4x more space than before so money and time well spent.
