Item arrived quickly. Fitted into a 15", mid 2015 Macbook Pro. It fired up as High Sierra, so no need (in my case) for recovery start up. It's only been in the machine an hour, so no idea on longevity or anything other than basic performance. Replaced a dead HD, so all good in my experience.
Product was as described and helpful support documentation online for when things don’t quite go to plan. My older MacBook Air wouldn’t see the Fledging drive due to older firmware but found information on the flex website explaining how to work around it. MacBook Air working fine with new drive.
Super service from flexxmemory, easy install, works a treat - prob'ly faster than the drive it replaced. (Macbook Air early 2014)
Fantastic service, I was able to check the correct SSD for my MacBook-pro. I received the 256 ssd he next day, together with the correct screw drivers. This made the upgrade easy to complete, the ssd card was upgraded within 15 minutes.
Ordered this item, arrived next day. Fitted easily following instructions I found online. I then went straight into Recovery Mode boot and Disk Utility but the disk wasnt recognised - I contacted FLEXX through a chat session and they informed me the disk was already pre-installed with MacOS and all I needed to do was boot, then upgrade and restore from my Time Machine backup. So simple! Recommend this either as an upgrade or a replacement for a faulty SSD, which mine was. Great company to deal with.
Worked as expected, easy open packaging, all good!
