The host computer itself must be upgraded to Mac OS 10.13 (High Sierra or newer) before this SSD drive is installed. This operating system contains an EFI firmware update which adds host support for these drives.
Boot Camp Compatibility.
Please note that the Feather M13 SSD is not compatible with Boot Camp when installed in any of the following Mac hosts: MacBookPro11,1 / MacBookAir6,1 / MacBookAir6,2 / iMac15,1 (Late 2014) / iMac18,2 / iMac18,3 / iMac19,1 / iMac19,2.
