Award-winning aluminium design

Experience incredible portable performance in the palm of your hand. The OWC Envoy Pro combines elegance and functionality in sleek, portable external storage for Apple Flash SSDs (June 2013-Current Mac Models). Its aluminium body protects your drive and data, while its minimal size allows for simple stowing in coat pockets, backpacks or briefcases.

The USB 3.0 interface offers speedy transfer rates of up to 500MB/s and the Envoy Pro requires no AC power adapter making it the ideal plug and play USB bus-powered SSD Enclosure.

1. The OWC Envoy Pro enclosure is specifically designed for use ONLY with the factory SSD installed in select Apple Macintosh computers. Do NOT attempt to install or use OWC Aura or Aura Pro X SSDs in the Envoy Pro as you may damage the OWC drive, the enclosure, or both, and such damage is not covered under warranty.

2. The OWC Envoy Pro enclosure is not currently compatible with Apple PCIe NVMe drives.

Compatibility Issue
Apple NVMe SSDs (all models), and AHCI SSDs made by Samsung (models from 2015 or later), while physically compatible with the Envoy Pro (OWCMAU3ENPRPCI), are not supported.

What Happens?
If your factory Mac SSD was working before you installed it into the Envoy Pro, but afterwards, it will no longer mount, there is a good chance your drive is one of Apple's NVMe designs.

If you installed the drive in the Envoy Pro and then experience data loss, there's a good chance it is one of the Samsung-manufactured AHCI models noted above.

    Very helpful staff

Posted by Spencer on 17th Dec 2020

I was searching high and low for one of these enclosures for an emergency job to upgrade a clients factory 1TB MacBook Pro SSD to a 2TB drive which my client purchased from Flexx a week earlier, I called Flexx late on a thursday afternoon and was delighted that they could offer a loan service on this item and I had it delivered to me by 2PM the following day just in time for me to clone my client's factory drive the following day. Fantastic service. Thanks guys.
