    Transcend jet drive 850

Posted by Unknown on 29th Jan 2021

Successfully installed in Air early 2015. Tried first using time machine but could not mount new drive which was unformatted as I did not buy enclosure, also my internet recovery was Yosemite, not Catalina so instead tried cloning bootable version of existing through usb to external ssd and then cloned back to new transcend ssd. Took a few hours to do but so far so good, improved disk speed according to black magic disk app and lots more space.
