Speed. Security. Savings. The seemingly impossible trinity of what you desire from your media workflow data storage is now an achievable reality with the OWC U.2 Workflow Solution. As an early pioneer and now leading developer of U.2 storage solutions, we’ve utilized our expertise to create the ultimate high-performance transportable film production storage solution. Blistering speed. Massive capacity. RAID-ready flexibility. Swappable convenience. It’s all ready for you to immediately put to work with nothing to configure or assemble with the OWC U.2 Workflow Solution.
Meet Your Supporting Cast
Delivering a starring performance requires a diversely talented cast. Taking the spotlight is the OWC U2 Shuttle. It’s the world’s first shuttle for four NVMe SSDs that easily inserts into 3.5-inch U.2 drive bays. It’s everything you’ve wanted in a multiple blade SSD – and similar to our award-winning ThunderBlade - but with enhanced capabilities for media production workflows.
Next up is the dynamic duo of the OWC U.2 NVMe Interchange System and the OWC Mercury Helios 3S. With a locking drive bay to keep your data secure, the Interchange System transforms the Mercury Helios 3S PCIe expansion chassis into a swappable U.2 bay. In true OWC fashion to make things super easy for you, the Interchange System drive bay conveniently arrives with the OWC U2 Shuttle installed with your choice of massive OWC Aura Pro SSD capacities.
Saves You Time and Money
For over three decades, OWC has listened to pros like you and created innovative solutions that solved your data storage challenges. As such, we heard you loud and clear about getting drives to post-production on a tight deadline with an equally tight project budget. The OWC U.2 Workflow Solution saves you time and money while safeguarding your data with an easy three step drive swap process:
- Step 1. Disconnect the Thunderbolt cable from the Helios 3S and unlock the drive bay.
- Step 2. Pull the U2 Shuttle out of the bay and ship it to post-production.
- Step 3. Slide U2 Shuttle into the drive bay, lock the drive bay, and reconnect the Thunderbolt cable to keep your data and projects flowing smoothly and securely.
Imagine…no more tedious and time-consuming drive enclosure disassembly or costly shipping of an entire enclosure to get a day’s shoot to post-production!
